Angela is a Provisional Clinical Animal Behaviourist, a fully accredited member of PACT (Professional Association of Canine Trainers), a Registered Animal Training Instructor with the ABTC (Animal Behaviour & Training Council), a member of ISAP (International Society of Animal Professionals), an official Scent Imprint For Dogs Instructor (for scent detection) and a recognised trainer for Scentwork UK.
Additionally Angela is a fully qualified Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT).
Angela adheres to a strict code of ethics bound by the APBC and PACT that ensures only kind, ethical and fair methods are used.

Reward Based
We understand how dogs learn, and can show you how to train your dog using only reward based methods in order to motivate your dog, build a lasting bond and to reach your dog’s potential.
We set your dog up to succeed and dont believe in using any form of force or intimidation. It simply is not needed! We aim to show you how to teach your dog to be a polite member of society while also building a strong relationship!

Vet Approved
We are proud that we are recommended by a number of vets in the area.
We have had vets and vet nurses attend classes and book 121 sessions and offer an array of services using only modern, effective, reward-based methods.
I couldn’t recommend Angela more!! Even during Covid we had the most amazing puppy classes via zoom. We did both the Beginners, and intermediate classes.
A small group of and all the attention we could imagine. Angela’s approach is the best I’v come by in the many years of having dogs and going through the puppy stages.
Working only through reward based training sets your pup up for a happy carefree life. I wish I found Angela sooner but luckily she helped us with our 7 year old frenchie as well as our puppy! And everyone is living in a very happy carefree house.
Integrating dogs can be difficult but Angela made it a smooth and exciting process and now we have two very happy dogs!

I have just finished the puppy class and I am very impressed by the quality of Polite Paws. Angela has a great knowledge, which she shares in a very pedagogical way.
She makes sure we understand everything. Her teaching and methods make total sense and I really like the 100% positive approach in puppy training.
Obviously it is reward based training but contrary to some other dog trainers I have met Angela really makes sure there is always a positive alternative when training your dog. Thank you so much and I am looking forward to next level. Thank you 🙂
